Do we need Facebook…

Maybe the shortest post for me.  Since last post: Facebook, Boats, and Religion  I have been thinking.

Would the world implode if  40 million plus people quit Facebook?

Pass this along to 40 million people who might “LIKE” to try life without Facebook again.

Do we really need anything but food, shelter, and clothes?

Everything else in my book is a want.

  2. Very True Swanny…Very True…

    Peace

  3. Not sure I “need” any of it, but I do like it :-) . Twitter is kind of impersonal to me….restricted in what I can say….lots of people there I’ll never know. Facebook, on the other hand, is mostly people I either know personally or have had numerous conversations via the Internet which makes it feel like I know them.
Deleting it would be like erasing a couple hundred people I care about…..not gonna do it LOL

  4. Understood… And there is good that can be had with Facebook.

Heck you are one of about 5 people I actually go back a forth on twitter with. Other wise Twitter has become a news feed aggregate for me, since I follow sports reporters, and news feeds…

  5. I heard that….SI Peter King and some Steelers guys is about what Twitter is to me anymore. Oh, and CNN. Loads faster than cnn.com :D

I dont have either one, a facebook or a twitter account. I just do not have time to sit and be narcissitic all day.

I have a family to be with, and others that are in need of help, and it is hard to be with them if I am in front of the computer telling others I had a sandwich for lunch or I am going to bed early tonight…

social networking just aint for me. Enjoy!

  7. Whew! Sure glad I have nothing to do, huh C? LOL
