Continued on…

Yeah…OK…So you have reached this page for one reason or another, and wonder what “Continued on…”  Means… Honestly I don’t know myself.

God is far from done with continuing to build my faith in Him.   Everyday I wake up to new challenges in my path to work through.    And everyday I make the choice to follow and seek Him for the God that he is.

What does this mean for my blog?   Who knows, and at this point I am not to concerned.    Just a few points as I take the next step in this journey of Faith that started 5 years ago…

1. Love is the answer.   Not the cheesy love we express for a hot dog or a car… But the love that is intentional and active.   If you really want to experience love as it is meant to be, give without question, do without expecting, and accept without pretense.

2.  The body of Christ,  his Church transcends the walls of the denominational mess we have now.   From the Largest of Mega Churches to the smallest where 2 or 3 gather,  the intent of His Body is the purpose for why he came.   Not anything man mad can change that.  If the intent is to find Christ, and his purpose through being his Body the Church, then you are and will experience Christ.    It is time for the division to stop, and the who does church better then the other arguments to be set aside.  Man has done enough damage and created enough division in the Body.   What is the answer?    See point #1 .

3.  Knowing Christ for who he is, starts with relationship.   Christ is relational through many means,  and we must start a relationship with Him before we become effective in building relationships with others.  My bet is that every person that professes to believe in Christ will say they were told about Christ based on a relationship of some sort.  One on one,  in a larger community,  a pastor preaching the Gospel, or even opening scripture.    How ever it happened there was a relationship… Christ is relationship, no matter the form it takes.   How do we seek that relationship?  See Point #1

Is this overly simplistic?  I hope so.  Faith is not meant to be complicated nor is it meant to be blind.  Watch as a child moves toward his Father:  A child cowering and holding back as he walks to his Father, knows that discipline or rebuke is coming.   A child running to the open arms of his Father only runs if he knows that outcome will be a loving embrace.   Neither approach is un-informed, and each approaches simply knowing who the Father is….

My hope and prayer is that more and more of Christ’s Body will stand up in faith and approach the Father for who He is, and Love in the way that Christ commanded.
